In honor of Women’s History Month, we asked BH’ers to nominate women who exemplify the BH values and go above and beyond to provide The Mint Experience. In our second year, we received a whopping 105 nominations.

Our fourth and final BH rock star is Kay Hubbard, Leasing Consultant, Ridgewood Preserve Apartment Homes, in Arlington, Texas.
Kay has been with BH for one year, and her team appreciates that she is a go-getter and a fireball of energy.
She is always smiling and ready to work. She communicates well, always asks what tasks need to be completed, and updates the team about what she will work on and finish that day.
Kay is open to constructive criticism and learns from the feedback. She does not make the same mistake twice. Since her first day at BH, she has shown extraordinary ambition. She has helped raise occupancy during critical times and never gives up—even when times are tough. Her residents adore her, always coming into the office to say hello any chance they get. Often, when people visit Kay’s office, she will give them snacks, and they love her for it.
Not surprising then that Kay’s favorite BH value is “Create Community.”
“It’s something I live by on and off the clock,” she said. “Those who live in my community hold me to such a high and loving standard. When interacting with a resident or potential resident, I aim to make them feel seen and heard. In the morning, as I walk through our property, I make sure I greet every familiar and unfamiliar face.”
Kay starts her day every morning by having a dance party with her 3-year-old, Zion.
“It’s the best way to wake up! When I arrive at work, I first walk the property to check on the walking path for all who will tour. I answer all calls, check emails, and prepare for any tours. Day in and day out, I make sure Ridgewood Preserve is moving on a positive path.”
Today and every day, we celebrate Kay for her ambition and commitment to creating community. She is a true asset to BH and deserves to be recognized during Women’s History Month.
