Railway Plaza Apartments: Reviews
We think this community is top-notch. But don't just take our word for it. Read what our residents have to say about living here. Their experiences tell the story: living here means living here means living more.
I am moving to Chicago with family and a young kid and needed a safe place with good school. Railway plaza apartments fulfill all of our needs and best part is it’s near by everything. I virtually rooted the facility with Liliana and she was very helpful with all our questions. It was a very nice experience and I’m planning to move there.
I applied for this complex after months of research due to the reviews. I applied on a Friday and Saturday morning I had a response from Tristan. I've never had a move in process go so smoothly. Tristan was able to answer all my questions and find me a nice apartment that fits my needs. The response time at this complex is honestly mind blowing. I want to give a huge thank you to Tristan for helping me and having record breaking customer service and response times. I'm very much impressed and thankful! Thank you Tristan!
This used to be a nice place to live. But now, I do have a different opinion. Pros: 1. Close to Metra Station 2. Good Size Apartment Cons: 1. Dog Waste Everywhere - You can never walk on a lawn without stepping on it. (They were suppose to do a dog park, but it hasn't happened.) 2. Dirty Pond - They do not clean the pond. So if your apartment is near the pond, you will have lot of flies and mosquitoes. Also the odor is awful. 3. Missing Packages - Mails/Packages goes missing if it is delivered out side the mailbox. They have a so called parcel pending locker system, where the carriers are supposed to deliver the items, but it never happens. If you speak to leasing office about the missing package, they will blame it on carrier. And if you speak to carrier, they will ask you to speak to the leasing office. So basically, if you are living here, you can never order online. 4. High Fee For Smart Lock - They have installed Smart Lock and Smart Thermostat for which they charge a good amount of fee. You can buy a new smart lock and thermostat every year with the fee you pay. 5. Bad Maintenance - You will get a fob/card to enter the building, but you do not need it. I recall, It's more than 2 years they haven't fixed the building door on my building. It is popped out since a long time and they are not fixing it.
“I love this community! The location is amazing! Easy commute to downtown. Easy access to many amenities. And I love living in such a safe city! I don’t think I’ll ever leave! There is on-site parking! The train station is a 1 minute walk away. There is a gym with a kid's room! Access to printers in the community room. A pool! And I'm located so close to stores and malls!”
Although a little early my boyfriend and I are looking to move in November. Tristan was very helpful and listened to what we were looking for and recommended a beautiful until that has a den. We saw the model and the complex and we’re very impressed. We are hoping that when the time comes that the unit that best fits our needs will be available.
We'd love to show you around.
