In celebration of Women’s History Month, we asked BH’ers to nominate women who exemplify the BH values and go above and beyond to provide The Mint Experience. We received a whopping 68 nominations! Although it was hard to narrow the list to just five, we will be featuring these wildly awesome women throughout the month. First up, Latasha Rogers, Community Manager at Schoettler Village in Chesterfield, MO.
According to the two nominations we received, Latasha continuously displays her passion and commitment to people, including her peers, fellow employees, residents, and prospects.
Latasha is very thorough when touring prospects through the community, providing highlights about the area and resources to help with the move-in process. Latasha advocates for the good and leads by example. She supports her team, including a time when she insisted a fellow teammate take time off so they could comfort their sister after her husband passed and she was due to have a baby. “She made me feel like I could be there for my family when it mattered most,” the employee said.
Latasha has a voice and isn’t afraid to speak on behalf of others who might be hesitant to speak for themselves. She joined the BH family in September 2022 and recently volunteered to serve on BH’s DE&I Committee.
Latasha’s hard work has also led to many successes at Schoettler Village. The community maintains an average occupancy of 96.30%, outperforming the submarket by almost 2%. This greatly contributed to Schoettler Village’s overall 10.3% revenue growth. Its new lease executed rents grew by 7% outperforming the submarket by 1.2%. The community has maintained a strong renewal rate with a 57.82% resident retention rate while seeing 5.49% average renewal rent growth. Schoettler Village also has maintained a 4.0 Google rating.
Latasha goes above and beyond for her team and her community and deserves to be recognized for Women’s History Month!
