Bass Lofts Apartments: Reviews
We think this community is top-notch. But don't just take our word for it. Read what our residents have to say about living here. Their experiences tell the story: living here means living here means living more.
I had an appointment to view some available units last week. Darrica showed me around, gave me so much detailed info that I was ready to move right in! My ideal unit had been swooped up already but D knows what I want and is keeping me in the loop. This seems like a great community managed by people that really care.
I lived at Bass Lofts for 12 amazing years. The reason I left was because I got a new job outside of Atlanta, and I needed to live closer to work. It was sad to leave so many great friends at Bass Lofts. Bass Lofts is a community of artists, creative professionals, and some of the most interesting folks you'll meet in Atlanta. I was constantly being inspired by my neighbors and their work. Collaborations between neighbors is frequent—I found myself working on projects with folks at Bass all the time. What you need to know about Bass Lofts is that it is extremely community oriented, so it's vital that you be an active participant and get to know your neighbors. It's the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, folks knock on doors to borrow a cup of sugar, and neighbors invite you in for a drink. There are frequent resident events that help you meet folks who live there. The spaces around Bass are beautiful. You won't find an apartment complex in Atlanta that has as much green space as Bass Lofts. Although the complex is in the heart of Little Five Points, Bass is an oasis of calm. Management is great. Shawn, the property manager, is a wonderful human being. He was always very kind and helpful for me. There was never an issue with maintenance requests, because management was always on top of fixing things. What you put into Bass Lofts is what you will get out of it. If you are willing to participate, get to know your neighbors, show up at community events, and make new friends... you will love loving here.
Overall a pretty nice place to live. The management is great, they were always super fast to respond and maintenance was always done promptly. The actual apartments and amenities are quite nice as well, especially for the price. Only complaints are the communal laundry machines are really bad; they break often and your clothes will never smell fresh. Also, the sound insulation, at least in the newer courtyard building, is pretty poor. The walls are pretty thin and I could hear conversations pretty easily through the walls. Also, even though the floors are concrete, footstep noise goes straight through the ceiling and is pretty loud.
I’m nearly embarrassed to say how long I’ve lived here but I just love it. Even through regime changes in management over the years I’ve always found that the more I put into the community here, the more I receive. Hopefully this doesn’t come across as an inflated puff piece, but I have made life long friends, business partners, colleagues, and wonderful neighbors all of whom I love coming home to. It’s not for everyone, but certainly has been a living experience that will come with much bitter sweet emotion when it comes time to graduate. I just wish I could buy into it and have a piece forever.
Lived here for almost 3 years, and can say it’s one of the best apartment complexes to live in ATL! Awesome floor plans, great community! Their courtyard units are massive and the ultimate bachelor pad for under $3k. Staff is awesome too!
We'd love to show you around.
